Whether they are practitioners, in research, in analysis laboratories, or even in administration, our colleagues have their place in this sector.

They testify in our file this week about their respective activity, their journey and their enthusiasm. The downside to embarking on this path lies in the fact that teaching dedicated to aquaculture is still very timid in our French veterinary schools (and still not in all of them!), which fail in this area.

Also, aquaculture enthusiasts often turn to training provided at universities in France and abroad. However, global production of fish and shellfish is booming to provide the human population with animal proteins and will be even more so in the decades to come according to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).
