Animal welfare training — Scimabio Interface
Vetofish will take part in this course on animal welfare regulations and good practice for work involving wild fish.
Scimabio Interface will hold a two-day in-person course on 25 and 26 November 2026, covering animal welfare during the capture, handling and common interventions performed on wild fish.
The programme combines regulatory guidance, practical recommendations and hands-on sessions covering anaesthesia, biometrics, tissue sampling, killing methods, transport and tagging. It is aimed in particular at staff from research institutes, fisheries management organisations and consultancy offices.
The course will take place at INRAE UMR CARRTEL in Thonon-les-Bains. The organiser lists 15 September 2026 as the registration deadline, subject to available places.
