How to treat a bacterial infection without a prescription?
In the European Union, veterinary antimicrobial medicines require a prescription under Article 34 of Regulation (EU) 2019/6 (French summary). The absence of a veterinarian or a product being offered online does not establish that an antibiotic may lawfully be used without a prescription. Authorisation and product conditions must be checked for the country and animals concerned.
